Elements of an Enticing Wedding Photography Proposal Template
1. Cover Letter
The first and foremost thing that a client notices in a photography proposal is an attractive cover letter- fit for world-class wedding photography. If the cover letter isn’t attractive enough then the constant battle of landing new clients can’t be won.
Other than the attractiveness, another component of a cover letter is the content that should be included which is a brief overview of you, the activities you undertake as well as some specifications that differentiate you from other photographers.
2. Basic Information Of The Event
This is the section that you want your client to fill to get to know him better. This includes location, a brief bio of the client, their theme, their favorite colors, their names, wedding date, etc.
This section is important to include in your proposal as it will help you a lot in knowing about your client and what he wants his photographs to look like so that you can provide them with optimum services
3. Our Schedule Of Wedding Photography
In the age of social media, your client expects the images from the event the very next day or preferably the day itself. However, wedding photographs do take time to process and build unlike the photos snapped with a smartphone. You can make this timeline as descriptive as you want and showcase it in more than one section.

Delineate your services that you will be providing to your client. These include the following but is not limited to-

- Pre-Wedding shoots
- Candid photography
- Traditional Videography and Photography
- Cinematography
- Albums
- Photobooth etc.
Mention all your services in this section and it is advisable to cater this section to the requirements of your client. For Eg, if a client is looking for candid photography then you should include candid photography in your proposal to make it more appealing.
5. Wedding Photography Packages
As a photographer, you need to offer different packages to your clients from which they can choose as per their requirements.
Therefore, state your packages in this section. You can include all the minute details that will be taken care of if the client hires your services such as the duration, how many pictures you will edit, cues of the venue, outstation shoots, etc. Keep it descriptive and mention everything in detail. Also, state any additional costs that will be rendered by your client in case of any discrepancy.
Educate your clients about the services and their respective costs and show how you are worth every penny!
6. Portfolio of Wedding Images
As a photographer, you need to showcase your talent in front of your clients which will help to attract them. This is what this section is all about- displaying some of your best images and portfolios. You can add as many photos as you like to fill up the entire space. You can also present it in the form of a collage to make it more enticing.
7. About Us
Introducing your company is also very important when you present a proposal and this is the section where you can do so. Mention everything about your company, so that the client knows which company is he dealing with. This also helps build a sense of trust between you and your client which is very important to grow in your niche.
Include all the basic details of your company such as its background, mission, vision, your main focus, aim, and other key pointers. Make it detailed and vivid.
8. Why Choose Us?
Now, this is a very important section as you have the opportunity to sell yourself to the client. This is the section where you can explain what do you possess that others don’t and why your client should hire you and not others for his/ her wedding. Mention some of the characteristics that make you stand out from the pack like we have mentioned- trusted staff, industry exposure, etc.
9. Acceptance and Condition
This is the terms and conditions slide that is vital to include in your proposal. Therefore, mention all the terms and conditions of the contract that your client needs to follow if at all he’s looking to hire your services. Include every point that you think is relevant for this particular proposal
A term and condition section is not “set in stone” so you can make the necessary changes in it as per your policy.
10. Next Step
This is the signing page of the proposal where your customer will add his signature to confirm that he is hiring your services. You can also mention some other aspects of your proposal as we have mentioned.
