Superordinate Goals: 

  • A superordinate goal is a common goal that appeals to all parties, even if some or all of them may be locked in a conflict
  • A single stakeholder cannot accomplish a subordinate goal, as it seeks cooperation among conflicting parties
  • To prevent conflicts at the workplace, formulate superordinate goals 
  • For example, revenue targets that are set for the entire department

Establish Rules for Behavior at Workplace:
